Why not consider a staircase a piece of furniture rather than a permanent feature in your home? On the one hand, nowadays more and more (temporary) houses are built in old office buildings or factories. On the other hand, people stay put in the same house even as their needs change. So new forms of architecture and interior design are needed – simpler, and more flexible. The Element Stairs is a spiral staircase of linked parts – inspired by the design and construction of a water slide. The staircase is easy to install and can be customized.
