The annual Dutch Design Awards show and reward the best in Dutch design. With the award ceremony, the exhibition during the Dutch Design Week and the publication of the Dutch Design Yearbook, DDA is a platform for Dutch design in the broadest sense.
Shortly after the introduction of the Groundfridge in Milan (last April) the product was nominated for the Dutch Design Awards. The jury was triggered by the fact that this underground refrigerator reduces energy consumption and gives people the opportunity to share and store stock together. In addition, there is no permit required to place the Groundfridge and no need to dispose soil. A well thought out product with great potential.
The Dutch Design Awards (DDA) is one of the most important awards in the design field and shows and rewards the best of Dutch design. On Saturday, October 24th, during the Dutch Design Week, the winner will be announced. From 17 to October 25 there is an exhibition with all the nominees in the Veemgebouw at Strijp S, Eindhoven.
