There are plenty of species and creatures living in our surroundings that we could get to know better. This is why Floris Schoonderbeek came up with The Local Habitat, a glass research dome in which you create your own temporary ecosystem. The glass shape has a slight magnifying effect and allows for great observation, especially when filled with water. “Bring creatures to your Local Habitat, give them a temporary home, observe and learn, and set them free after getting to know them better. Because the more you know, the more you care.” The Local Habitat is also usable as a vase or for aquascaping.
